Re-Entry Frequently Asked Questions

Good morning labor partners,

In accordance with the agency’s recently updated Workforce Safety Plan and Reentry plan, and now that negotiations with all three unions have concluded, we plan to end evacuation orders and reopen SSA facilities to allow for a safe return of most employees to their official duty stations (ODS) on March 30, 2022. If they wish to telework after reentry and are eligible, employees must sign up for normal telework agreements which will be effective March 30. We plan to share that message with employees in their official 30 day advance notice currently planned for release by Human Resources Internal Communication (HRIC) on February 7, 2022.

DCHR has updated the attached COVID-19 Employee FAQs to be consistent with the reentry plan and all applicable MOUs. I will continue to keep you updated throughout this process. Please let me know if you have any questions.
